What is the shelf life of your products?

All De:maf products undergo bacterial and microbial testing to ensure their safety.

Additionally, all cosmetics must contain preservatives to prevent deterioration. Likewise, De:maf uses the minimum amount of preservatives and antimicrobial agents that do not irritate the skin, keeping the risk of product deterioration as low as possible. While using higher amounts of powerful preservatives could prevent spoilage for several years, this can cause significant irritation and stress to the skin, which is something De:maf avoids.

Therefore, we recommend using our products within 6 months after opening to ensure maximum safety, especially when stored in a place away from direct sunlight.

Since oxidation begins as soon as the product is opened, it’s essential to pay attention to temperature changes. Avoid places with direct sunlight or high humidity and temperature fluctuations, like bathrooms.

It is best to store your products on a vanity in a cool, dark place away from sunlight. As for cleansers, shampoos, and body products that are often kept in bathrooms for convenience, we suggest keeping the bathroom well-ventilated and avoiding excessively hot showers to maintain a stable temperature as much as possible. 😊

What should I do if De:maf products don’t suit my skin?

De:maf products are formulated without ingredients that can cause allergies or irritate the skin as much as possible.

However, since everyone’s body, environment, and the current condition of their skin barrier and sensitivity are different, some people may find certain ingredients unsuitable for them.

For example, just as peanuts or peaches aren’t inherently bad but can cause allergies for some people, certain ingredients might not agree with your skin and immune system. We kindly ask for your understanding in this regard!

If you experience any allergic reactions, please stop using the product immediately. Don’t worry—we offer a full refund even for opened products.

In such cases, we recommend avoiding anything that could further irritate the skin for 3-4 weeks to help your skin barrier recover quickly. This includes exfoliation, brightening products, gua sha and massages, saunas, hot baths, direct sunlight, and outdoor activities.

If you experience breakouts after applying a specific product, it may not necessarily be due to an ingredient mismatch. The possible reasons could be:

1. Your skin barrier might be compromised, causing temporary hypersensitivity to new products.
When the skin barrier is weakened, trying new products can trigger breakouts or hypersensitive reactions!

2. It might not be the product at all—breakouts could coincide with your hormonal cycle (such as menstruation or ovulation).

Are De:maf products safe for children and pregnant women?

Yes, all De:maf products are safe for babies and pregnant women. We do not use any artificial fragrances, colorants, essential oils, limonene, linalool, or other allergy-inducing ingredients.

Additionally, our products are free from brightening agents like niacinamide and arbutin as well as exfoliating ingredients such as AHA, BHA, and PHA.

De:maf’s challenge was created under the slogan “Glow my Skin, Glow my Life” to help you build healthy habits with friends and achieve brighter, healthier skin and a more radiant life through these challenges :-)

Starting with the First Serum Layering Challenge, we’re preparing a variety of simple yet effective challenges for skin health and inner beauty, things that are hard to stick to alone but easier (and more fun!) when done together.

I missed the challenge sign-up. Can I still join?

You can still sign up as long as it’s before the check-in deadline on the first day of the challenge.
We’re accepting late sign-ups until the first day. If you share your community ID and name, We can manually register you.

However, if you contact us after the challenge has already started, unfortunately, we won’t be able to accept new participants.
Please try again for the next challenge!

I’m getting an error when uploading challenge photos.

If you are experiencing an error when trying to upload a photo, please share the details of your environment, your device model, and the issue you’re facing during the process.

If you can send us a screenshot of the error screen, it will help us resolve the issue faster.

  3. Example: When I press the submit button, the screen just stays white.

I completed the verification, but it says “Pending Verification”.

The “Pending Verification” status means that you’ve successfully submitted your verification, and our team is currently reviewing it.

Once the review is complete, the status will be updated to either Verified or Verification Failed. Please hold on just a little longer!

I took the challenge photo but couldn’t upload it.

I see that you took the photo but weren’t able to upload it!If the upload issue was caused by an internal De:maf system error, we’ll of course assist you.

However, if the upload couldn’t be completed due to personal oversight or device/environment issues, we’re unable to process the verification in order to keep the challenge fair for everyone.

We kindly ask for your understanding.

I want to edit my challenge photo after uploading it.

You can re-upload and verify again as long as it’s within the verification time :)
Just go back to the same page, click the Edit button, and make your changes within the verification period.
